See all the sanctions that 'were' going to be exercised by both the Canadian version of the FDA and the US until it was found that they produced ALL of the MEDICALLY NECESSARY generic drugs for a particular disease.
Ranbaxy is another one that has screwed the people over by producing bad generic medications.
But who really has screwed the people over? I think it's the lax attitude of the FDA who used to watch out for the people. They now only test ONE particular strength from each manufacturer, and let them, get this, 'Police Themselves' on all the other strengths of the same medication.
Also the practice of letting manufacturers produce these drugs in other 'third world nations' like India is a big contributor to the poor quality being found throughout almost the entire range of generic manufactured drugs.
And if you think this is no big deal then think again. What if you suddenly couldn't get your same quality generic Diabetes medication but were substituted out for one that didn't work at all, or was reduced by say 50% in effectiveness...or gave you a terrible stomach ache and headache for days on end after taking each dose?
And that's just one tiny example. Imagine if ALL generics which most are 'forced' to take in liew of the name brand stopped working. Can you imagine what kind of chaos it would create in the world.
And is that the plan currently being unfolded? I think it's definitely happening more and more. A soft kill if you will!!!
WE need to stand up and take action. I'm tired of the bullshit our 'benevolent protectors' are pulling on the American people.
