Good to see a member who can understand the reality of this machine

This thread is totaly aimed at sharing factual info regarding CERN and the LHC and help in understanding the experiment.

Regardless of your view on impending doom and the LHCs role in this doom, facts shape opinons.
I made this thread in the hope all could simply focus on converting these facts into positive understanding.

Iv defo used this thread and the facts in it to try and shape a more posotive outlook on the LHC.
It seems so many people are intent on the world ending, and the LHC, as with asteroids, comets meteors and volcanos, are the doom mongers way of saying 'i told you so'
I have used this thread to dispell stupid rumour and fantasy around the LHC, and will continue to do so!!!

That being said, this reality is full of fantasy.
In fact i personly think this reality is pure fantasy.

I think hes talking about the higgs but the higgs was found in 2012.
