That's the message from "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan, who says fans of the AMC drama have been throwing pizzas on the roof of the Albuquerque, New Mexico, residence that stood in for the fictional meth dealer's home. For those of you who didn't watch the show, there was a memorable scene in which Bryan Cranston's Walter, frustrated with his wife, tossed a pizza into the air, and it landed on the roof of his house. The woman who owns the home in real life has mentioned the pizza-tossing incidents, and that some fans have been rude to her. He warned, "There is nothing original or funny or cool about throwing a pizza on this lady’s roof. It’s just not funny, it’s been done before, you're not the first." Actor Jonathan Banks, who played the intimidating Mike Ehrmantraut on "Breaking Bad" and is reprising the role on "Better Call Saul," chimed in, "And if I catch you doing it, I will hunt you down."" I got out where Walter waited to call his neighbor in to get the goons out. Even from that far away we just bolted when the owner came out. Come to find out she was cool with nice people who visit...throwing a pizza on this poor woman's house should be considered breaking and entering. Can't believe psychos did that. We also visited all of the sites in ABQ including the Octopus carwash and ate a hot dog at the weiner place...awesome!!! |
