This system fails to adequately support the number of people it currently has. The earth is capable of sustaining many more, but only under proper management by humans. We have been pushing the boundaries of the planets carrying capacity and eventually that boundary is going to snap and send forth a chain of catastrophic events that will greatly depopulate the planet.

A problem we have as a species is we have no long term vision. Our governments and the average man only cares about right now, a few years out, or the limits of their lifetime at most. It is not unrealistic for our species and its civilizations to be here in a thousand years, but in order for it to happen we must collectively live in a manner that sustains itself and its environment. What the fuck is everyone in such a rush for anyways?

People having five or seven kids pisses me off, even if they posses the financial means to care for those offspring, collectively their presence still puts a strain on the system and carrying capacity of the planet.

There is a better system to be had. What it is, I do not know, for I am not that smart. But I am smart enough to know that this system has failed us as a species.

Valid point. I do believe things are going exactly as planned by a powerful group of individuals.
