I generally like flat-earthers for simply thinking outside of the box.

However, the logic behind alot of points made in the theory are quiet fail.

For instance. If I am driving at 60mph in my car, and I go to take a sip of my hot coffee and spill it down the front of my shirt---it doesn't spill with a velocity of 60mph, even though I am still travelling at 60mph--and technically so is the cup.

In fact, the direction and speed of the car has no bearing whatsoever upon the droplets falling from my coffee cup--even if I were going 100mph, the droplets of coffee would have emerged in exactly the same fashion.

So why should a plane travelling at 700 mph within the encapsulated atmosphere of the earth, have to travel a shorter or further distance due the rotational spin of the earth on it's axis?

This does not make sense to me.
