Need help finding the right song to play at my husbands funeral. Please help!!!

I like Eva Cassidy - a phenominal voice, a young woman who should be much better known, but she died young.

Here is a song, Fields of Gold, sung by her. You may recognize the song.

I honestly don't even know how you can think of this or even post about it. :( I would never give up hope, and I couldn't possibly plan something for my husband's funeral while he was still alive.

We don't know your husband. Ugh. Sorry this just seems so impersonal. Not something I can wrap my head around.

Never Forget. It's a video game theme from Halo but it's beautiful and haunting.

for my fathers funeral my youngest played Amazing Grace with the trumpet. everyone started crying, even the people from the village who hardly knew him.

Grief and letting go are a process, not an event

Preparation and focusing on music that reflects a life are a positive step

It allows the mind to sort of crystalize the reality of going through grief, experiencing it fully.

To set ones mind to mourn deeply and appropriately sets the groundwork to be able to heal and move forward in a healthy way
