I am as well for a very different reason.

There is absolutely no way, no way at all, of understanding what is happening now unless one reads the Torah and related Hebrew scriptures. Even then the study of the Torah for Christians like me requires the watchful and learned eye of a Rabbi.

There is absolutely nothing new happening now other than our weapons have become much more lethal. You could take today's headlines and publish them 5000 years ago and they would be familiar.

Corruption, deceit, false leaders, false witnesses, enslaved people, war, pestilence, rampant socially-approved sin, destruction, the idolization and worship of things other than God, all happened before and is happening again now only to me, its much much worse because the media, both social and MSM, feed it constantly and our government is telling us not to be offended lest we be closed-minded and racist.

I'm not denigrating the importance of the New Testament. But do not people understand that our destiny lies in the fate of the covenanted people?

Okay, that's enough soap box from me for now.

An interesting observation concerning democracies:

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith;

From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.

Scripture says that man will do as he pleases, having no regard for G-d or His law.

They will go about their lives ignorant, unloving, unkind, boastful, sinful, lustful, etc. And they will seek to force others to do the same by hate, shame, and deceit.

Some will exist having a form of godliness....BUT DENYING ITS' POWER.

To stand firm in who you are is not to be selfish or boastful, for YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN.

G-d did not crucify Y'shua.

Man did.

G-d simply gathered back that which was Himself.

Y'shua is Torah.

Torah is Law.

Law is G-d.

Everything that was ever made was made through Him (LAW) and by Him (LAW).

G-d (LAW) is Spirit...not flesh.

The flesh is but dust and goes back from whence it came, to blow away in the wind.

What is sin? Absence (transgression) of LAW. Outside of G-d.

Yehoshua 1:6-9 says “Strengthen yourself (HaShem speaking to Yehoshua) and persevere because you will cause this people to inherit the Land which I have sworn to their fathers to give them."

Isaiah 61:6 says “And you (Israel) will be called ‘priests of HaShem;’ ‘ministers of our Elohim’ will be said of you. You will eat the wealth of nations and will pride yourselves in their glory.”

1 Peter 2:9 repeats this “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a set apart nation, a people for a possession, that you should proclaim the praises of Him Who called you out of darkness until His marvelous light.”

As we are fast approaching Pesach (Passover) it is interesting to note that during the Temple Service on Pesach the Levites would lead Israel to sing six Psalms: 113-118. Pay close attention to the wording in Psalms 118 and remember all of these Psalms were sung during the time Y'Shua was dying on the tree on the Mount of Olives. Just a coincidence or further proof HaShem has EVERYTHING under His control?



Psalms 113:1-9 says “Praise Elohim! Give praise, you servants of HaShem! Praise the Name of HaShem! Blessed be the Name of HaShem from this time forth and forever. From the rising of the sun to its setting, HaShem’s Name is praised. High above all nations is HaShem, above the heavens is His glory. Who is like HaShem, our Elohim, Who is enthroned on high, yet deigns to look upon the heaven and the earth? He raises the needy from the dust, from the trash heaps He lifts the destitute. To seat them with nobles, with the nobles of His people. He transforms the barren wife into a glad mother of children. Praise Elohim!”

Psalms 114:1-8 says “When Israel went out of Egypt, Jacob’s household from a people of alien tongue. Judah became His Sanctuary, Israel His dominion. The sea saw and fled, the Jordan turned backward. Before the Lord’s Presence did I, the earth, tremble, before the Presence of the Elohim of Jacob. Who turns the rock into a pond of water, the flint into a flowing fountain.”

Psalms 115:1-18 says “Not for our sake, HaShem, not for our sake, but for Your Name’s sake give glory, for the sake of Your kindness and Your truth! Why should the nations say, ‘Where now is their Elohim?’ Our Elohim is in the heavens, whatever He pleases, He does! Their idols are silver and gold, the handiwork of man. They have a mouth, but cannot speak; you who fear HaShem! Trust in HaShem, He is their help and their shield (Covenant lingo!). HaShem Who has remembered us will bless, He will bless the House of Israel; He will bless the House of Aaron. He will bless those who fear HaShem, the small as well as the great. May HaShem add upon you, upon you and upon your children! You are blessed of HaShem, Maker of heaven and earth. As for the heavens, the heavens are HaShem’s, but the earth He has given to mankind. Psalms 116:1-19 says “I love Him, for HaShem hears my voice, my supplications. For He has inclined His ear to me, in my days I will invoke His Name. Then I would invoke the Name of HaShem: ‘Please HaShem save my soul!’ Gracious is HaShem and righteous our Elohim is merciful. HaShem protects the simple; I was brought low, but He saved me. Psalms 118:1-29 says “Give thanks to HaShem, for He is good; ‘His kindness endures forever!’ Let Israel say: ‘His kindness endures forever!’ Let the House of Aaron say: ‘His kindness endures forever!’ Let those who fear HaShem say: ‘His kindness endures forever!’ From the straits I called upon Yah, Yah answered me with expansiveness.
