Morning, Jazzy. hf
What a shitty day this is...

Morning EC. Tell me about it. Damn dog kept me up all night whining and digging at the floor of his crate. He's decided to start crapping and pissing all over the carpet at night, so it's into dog jail at bedtime and he's throwing a fit about it. I finally get up, grab some coffee and get on here, only to find a bunch of whiny ninnies making stupid reports cuz their feelings were hurt. And I haven't even read the news yet...omg.

:jgfcomma:

I want to play whack a mole on their heads with rubber mallets and watch em bounce. They're already complete idiots so it's not like it's gonna hurt em at all.

Same here. We can't let this situation continue. As for attacking the US mainland, if they do Norkland will very shortly thereafter look like the cover of a Led Zeppelin album.

Which is why I do not think they will attack our homeland with ICBM's....Atleast the first strike. The Nork's bio warfare capability seems to be quite advanced and makes sense that other countries that are helping with the nukes are also investing in the bio warfare stuff.

Just a thought but maybe his first strike would be the BIO attack which would be complete chaos here and blamed on another faction. second follow up strike could be the icbm's

Maybe another ebola outbreak that came in from afica but weeks later it's not really ebola but some bad voodoo shit that spreads 1,000X faster and goes airborn.

I agree with you P. They're gonna hit us with an EMP and biologicals. They won't use a couple of nukes or chems like everybody is thinking. They're too easily countered. But toss around a few hundred vials of weaponized bio in strategic places, then take out every source of power we have and watch how fast this country buckles. Especially when the nuclear plants all run out of backup.

Question...if all the power is gone and the electronics fried, how will they be able to shut down the nuke plants? Is there some type of manual shut off? I'm really curious about this.

Diesel backup, provided the gens aren't fried. And I'm pretty sure they're kept in hardened areas. I'm no scientist, but it's my understanding that the shut downs have to take place slowly. They can't just flip a switch and viola. And even once they're fully shut down, the cooling still has to be maintained or they melt down. That's what happened at fuku.

Same thing happened at Chernobyl, too. Thanks, Jazzy.

Wonder if there are any hardened areas. They have ignored warnings about this since the late 70s.

Morning guys. Talked to friends last night and I asked them directly if there was an evacuation in progress and I was pointedly told, no there wasn't. However when I asked about high level people being moved out, they couldn't comment one way or another. But things are happening and extra stuff is being moved into place. The warning from last time still stands. They expect it to go off 'in days' - meaning when fat boy launches. Doesn't matter if it's a test or not.

As for no evac, as it was explained to me, any movement of the people from SK will likely be a trigger and they are trying to limit the coming casualties. In other words, there will be no warning given beforehand and the people of SK are basically screwed.

Sounds about right as far as Seoul is concerned there are losses that the thinking heads have now considered unavoidable and acceptable. Kinda crappy train of thought but unfortunately the reality is there is no way to truly secure the SK population in the event of hostilities. Only comfort if you can call it that is that both sides will suffer

Morning, Zilla. Yeah, Aug 15th is some kind of gov't holiday in NK. They love to parade their stuff on holidays and test missiles, too. Rumor going around that high officials are leaving SK. Anyone know anything else about that?

NK and SK were never anything but a rubber band being stretched by China and the US. Each side will let go of their respective ends. IF one side hangs on, the whole tamale is gonna blow back on them and leave more than a black eye. The whole region is going to be allowed to implode on its' own.

It's the after affects that are gonna get bloody evil.

I will say this, they expect the casualties to be catastrophic. Way worse than the estimates that are being thrown around in the mainstream. How bad? Think Stalingrad.
 Quoting: BioReaper

God help them. I just looked it up and there are between 150,000 to 200,000 prisoners in the work camps in NK. Starving, sick, pitiful!

Re: The World at War
A person close to us has a pretty fine position with a certain company; he's an aerospace engineer. He told us a couple years back of a study done by the company to determine the priority concern for a nation, based upon likelihood/feasibility, etc.

No. 2 was solar flare/CME. Always a possibility. The resultant scenario would be the same as No. 1 --

No. 1 was EMP. Two days of chaos. Two weeks 'til zombieland (mass killings, violence, etc. per need for food/resources).

A lot of work by this company has gone into preventing or quickly reconciling the damage from either situation.

He did tell me though that he hopes he dies if either happens, because he "doesnt want to live through what's going to happen."

These points are pretty well known by many people, to include the determination that .22 shells would become the base barter item. I'm sure this has been addressed in countless GLP threads.

I know I've said this before, but everyone who hasn't read the book "One Second After" by Forschen should read it as soon as possible. That book opened my eyes to a lot I hadn't thought of before.
