Palestinians call for 'revenge' at funeral of boy killed on Gaza border

Thousands of Palestinians on Saturday attended the funeral of the 11-year-old son of a Hamas military commander killed by Israeli fire in the southern Gaza Strip, with mourners demanding "revenge."

Yasser Abu al-Naja, whose father is a member of Hamas's military wing, was shot in the head on Friday in border clashes near the southern city of Khan Yunis.

First they said he was 17, then 13 and now he was 11. Will he suddenly turn 7 now that he's buried? They're also now claiming he was shot directly in the head while the doctors who examined him said he was hit in the head by shrapnel.

Lie, lie, lie.

Quoting from that thread

Germany's interior minister has offered to resign over Angela Merkel's EU deal to tackle immigration, reports say.

Horst Seehofer, leader of the CSU, a key party in Mrs Merkel's coalition, has grown increasingly angry at her position on immigration.

Last week he threatened to turn asylum seekers away from Germany's borders unless Mrs Merkel reached an acceptable deal with other EU partners.

His stance put Mrs Merkel's coalition and her political future in question.

Late on Sunday, Mrs Merkel's Christian Democratic Union (CDU) passed a resolution supporting her position on migration. CDU General Secretary Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer said the party believed a European solution was necessary.

But separate reports from sources within the CDU's Bavarian sister party, the CSU, indicated Mr Seehofer had offered to resign both as leader of the CSU and as interior minister. He is due to make a statement shortly.

Don't know if this has been posted. Massive amounts of people fleeing South Syria are amassing on Israels' border in Golan.

'Up to 160,000 Syrians have fled areas of fighting near Dara’a. Some of them have sought shelter near the border with Israel.

The displaced people have gathered as close as possible to Israel’s security fence that runs along the border and many of them are between the 1974 ceasefire lines Bravo and Alpha in an area usually patrolled by UNDOF.'

Gee, it's almost like the movement of those people was deliberate. I think that Jordan closed their border with Syria and Israel said those people cannot come into Israel. I looked at the Syria live map and the Golan is the only place to flee.

South is a closed Jordanian border. North is Assad controlled. (the pink on map) West NW is Isis area. (the grey) The only path is up to the northwest around the Isis controlled area and on the Golan border. (green area NW of fighting)

So, it makes perfect sense that this is the area they would flee to. Any dummy with a map could have figured that out. I think the Iranians and Russians could surely figure that out.

That's a crap-ton of people at the Golan border security fence. Many more than Gaza could ever muster on their border fence. It's about 30 miles to Israel proper from there.

I was wondering though. The refugees are not hostile. They are civilians who are fleeing war. No reason to storm towards the Israel border. Well, unless they become desperate or fighting just "happens" to break out in Golan.

The numbers are going up too.

What do you think?

The direction the 'civilians' are fleeing to is telling. They claim to be supportive of Assad, want him as their ruler, yet they flee AWAY from areas under his control.

If he is their chosen leader, and his forces are fighting FOR them, then why flee away from the safety they could afford them?

Are those people for Assad? I thought that they were many of the same people that Assad attacked in the beginning of the war (in Daraa) and is now re-attacking. Am I mistaken? I thought those people were more on the rebels side.

I was merely restating what Assad, Russia and Iran have been claiming all along...that the rebels are agent provocateurs working for the US and others and that the Syrian civilian population back Assad in droves. If this were true, then there wouldn't hundreds of thousands of people fleeing away from areas under his control.

hahaha. Yeah, right? I get what you were saying now.

I think it makes a lot more sense now (to me at least) as to a big reason that Israel is deploying assets on the Golan, Israel side. I'm starting to see a picture forming. The massive refugee population on the Golan could be a hugely destabilizing factor should fighting break out.

Imagine the shooting starts and those refugees MUST flee into Israel while Israel is engaged in war. Wow, that's pretty smart to move a massive amount of people there to that particular location. They have Israel in a bind with "innocents" that could be caught up with only one direction to go.....Israel.

It's a big problem.

Yes, I can see the plan coming to a more full view. This has been years in the making. Now, Assad has a human shield on the Golan that also serves as a MASSIVE destabilization threat directly to Israel's homeland. Brilliant move. (albeit, expected by Israel no doubt)

I have to think that Israel is like a spider spinning a web for the prey. Israel is most likely way ahead of the plan. They must be setting a trap of some sort. They are quietly and diligently preparing for what's coming in ways that we will only see when it takes place.

Wow. Seems that things have never been so set up. You are so right about the 'deciding battle' thing. It is ALL going to that specific location.

The suspects targeted a rally of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in Paris Saturday. The rally, which drew thousands of people was attended by US President Donald Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.

NCRI spokesman Sharon Gobad said: "A plot by the religious dictatorship ruling Iran to carry out a terrorist attack against the grand gathering of the Iranian Resistance in Villepinte was foiled."

'We will not allow passage to Israel - but we will help'

MK Motti Yogev discusses the dilemmas raised by the situation with the Syrians on the Golan Heights border.

"The guiding principle set by the defense minister, the defense establishment and the cabinet is that we will not allow passage to Israel, but we will try to help with humanitarian aid," Yogev added.

"We have a primary obligation to protect our citizens. We have to act first and foremost on the diplomatic side, to create good neighborliness that the Russians and the Americans are backing,” he concluded.

Abbas: Al-Quds is occupied

Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday accused Israel of implementing a racist discrimination regime similar to the apartheid regime in South Africa.

In a speech on behalf of Abbas, delivered by the PA official in charge of foreign affairs Riad al-Maliki at the African Union summit, the PA chairman said that the United States had taken an "aggressive and unilateral" step when it recognized “occupied Jerusalem” as the capital of the "Israeli occupation state" and transferred its embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied "Al-Quds" in defiance of the international position.

PA irked by Jerusalem Light Festival

The Palestinian Authority (PA) in Ramallah condemned the annual Jerusalem Festival of Light, which is taking place for the tenth year in the Old City of Jerusalem, calling it the "Judaization Festival".

"The occupation seeks to use all means that serve its dark objectives, including light and its beauty, in order to further blur the history and present of the ancient Arab cities," claimed Mahmoud.

Iranian general: Israel stealing Iran's clouds

Iranian Brigadier General Gholam Reza Jalali accuses Israel of manipulating the weather to cause Iran's drought crisis.

[link to www.israelnationalnews.com (secure)]
 Quoting: ~Jazzy~

From that^^^

"On top of that, we are facing the issue of cloud and snow theft", Jalali added.

Snow theft too.

Israel must have a gigantic snow blower in case any snow falls from the few straggler clouds that are not stolen. Imagine the motor on that thing.

Thanks. That article was funny.
