Re: The World at War
General question....what's the chances of Israel going for broke and attacking Iran on or around 4th of July or sometime shortly after?
 Quoting: GodzillaReturns

When Iran starts churning its new centrifuges, Israel's gloves will come off. If that happens before the 4th, yes there will be an attack. At the same time, Iran may be doing things that cross Israeli redlines and if that is the case, Israel will immediately attack (detection of higher enrichment, or moving its nuclear equipment and uranium into unreachable chambers underground. Chances of Iran doing such events immediately, perhaps 10%, higher if she fears an Israeli attack. That causes the risk to perhaps rise because of fear on both sides.

Meanwhile, Israel's displeasure with the agreement is enough to spark an attack and why not do so immediately verses wait weeks or months? The longer Israel waits, the greater the chance Iran will move her uranium into underground chambers as well as her hi-tech centrifuges and manufacturing equipment for more centrifuges, and a greater chance of Iran initiating enriching beyond limits in underground chambers where nukes can be made in weeks if not days and with no detection. I give that a 33% chance of an attack within a week of the agreement with an increase of 1% each day after the signing of an agreement.

You can see that be mid-September, Israel will have to have attacked by these chances and the weighing risk of letting Iran go nuclear due to inability to detect what Iran is actually doing. Before then, the sooner an attack happens, the more damage could be wrought.

Does that help understand the chances of an immediate attack?

It's not as if there's one big huge bomb being hidden in some bunker close to hell.

Iran isn't stupid. She has scientists just like other countries and they're all led by the spirit of darkness.

It wouldn't take a huge nuke to completely destroy Israel. And besides, that's not what Iran wants. They don't want to destroy the LAND...just the people.
 Quoting: JazzyG

I imagine an EMP would pretty much accomplish that. Blow it and just sit and wait a while. And I would imagine they'd throw a few more EMPs out there to the other surrounding countries. I can visualize a bleak future if they do that in the Mid East.

to them it may not make a difference, if they can't have the land...then at least get rid of the people..to them it's all relative...their "mahdi" will just make it all better when he shows up
 Quoting: GodzillaReturns

They will use it when they are ready. Not even for the land in totality, nor even necessarily the people they want to wipe out. They will use it because they believe it is their duty, given their prophecies, to bring about the 12th imam/last mahdi. Israel being destroyed is one of the main events to hasten his return.

(and if you listen carefully, hastening his return is something they are very vocal about - Ahmoudinanutjob prayed for it every single time he addressed the UN - it was his opening sentence)
 Quoting: iSithPartDeux

Remember too that the Islamic nation that hits Israel will lead all the other muslim nations and thus if it is Iran, she will end the Shiite sunni war soon thereafter with much support and conversion.

That in itself is a reason why Iran needs to build a sufficient quantity of nukes in a very quick fashion. She wants her own self-built nuke to be blessed for use before using those nukes bought through North Korea.

USDA: 2015 CORN ACRES PLANTED LOWEST SINCE 2010

I can verify this. We live in a farming area and I've never seen such little planted. The early spring was extremely rainy and the farmers couldn't get in the fields. The winter wheat was absolutely beautiful and was getting ripe when the rains hit. Every wheat field around here rotted and was burnt off. Not one was able to be harvested. Another sign of the times, my friends. Couple that with the droughts out west and famine is on the horizon.

Turkey and Jordan said preparing buffer zones inside Syria. Israeli air support mooted. Putin issues warning

Turkish and Jordanian armies were reported on June 30 to be getting ready to cross into Syria and set up security buffer zones – to fight ISIS, oppose the Assad regime and stem the never-ending flow of refugees. It is not clear if they are coordinated. Turkey has prepared 18,000 troops for the operation. Its air force is to impose a no-fly zone against Syrian flights. The Jordanian army is also on the ready to go in and said to be seeking Israel’s air force participation for air cover and a parallel no-fly zone in the south.

Exactly. There's many ways that the people of Israel can be wiped out without using nukes.

Scripture says that 1/3 of her people will die. And then a third of what is left will die after that.

What once was, will be again.

G-d removes His protection. Michael stands up. The restrainer is removed so that the dark one can come in.

Zechariah 13

7 "Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, And against the man, My Associate," Declares the LORD of hosts. "Strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered; And I will turn My hand against the little ones. 8 "It will come about in all the land," Declares the LORD, "That two parts in it will be cut off and perish; But the third will be left in it. 9 "And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, 'They are My people,' And they will say, 'The LORD is my G-d.'"

Ezekiel 5

12 'One third of you will die by plague or be consumed by famine among you, one third will fall by the sword around you, and one third I will scatter to every wind, and I will unsheathe a sword behind them. 13 'Thus My anger will be spent and I will satisfy My wrath on them, and I will be appeased; then they will know that I, the LORD, have spoken in My zeal when I have spent My wrath upon them.…'
To know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders.
