Trump says US will seek ‘snapback’ of UN Iran sanctions next week

President Donald Trump says the United States will try to trigger a “snapback” of sanctions on Iran at the United Nations next week, in a move that could kill the Iran nuclear deal and plunge the UN into a diplomatic crisis.

“We’ll be doing a snapback,” Trump told reporters on August 15, the day after the UN Security Council rejected a U.S.-sponsored resolution to extend an arms embargo on Iran. “You’ll be watching it next week.”

When asked whether he would join a Russian-proposed summit to deescalate tensions with Iran, Trump said, “probably not.”

Disney Channel to Debut First Bisexual Character in a TV Series

The Disney Channel has confirmed that its “The Owl House” series will feature the first bisexual character to debut on a television series.

The series’ creator, Dana Terrace, said that the decision to add an LGBTQ+ character was not supported by “certain Disney leadership” at first.

“I was very open about my intention to put queer kids in the main cast. I'm a horrible liar so sneaking it in would've been hard," Terrace tweeted.

Israel-UAE deal nullifies Arab Peace Initiative, Yadlin says

The 2002 Arab Peace Initiative is no longer relevant now that Israel and the United Arab Emirates are set to normalize ties, former IDF Intelligence Director Amos Yadlin said on Monday.

“The Arab Peace Initiative principle of having the veto on normalization between Israel and the Arabs, this is gone,” Yadlin told The Jerusalem Press Club during a virtual meeting on the US-brokered deal.

He spoke of the demise of the Arab Peace Initiative, which for 18 years has been one of the cornerstones of Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking. The deal, was an attempt by the Arab states to force a two-state solution at the pre-1967 lines. It is referenced in most international documents.

Rep. Betty McCollum (D-Minn.) introduced a bill on Friday that would prohibit the United States from recognizing Israel’s application of sovereignty over Torah observant communities in Judea and Samaria.

Danny Danon, former Israeli ambassador to the UN, said that Nikki Haley could replace Mike Pence as Donald Trump’s vice-presidential running mate in the upcoming U.S. elections.

You got to admit, she'd make Kamel Toe more of a laughing stock than she already is.

If Biden wins and then dies or is found incompetent, Kamel Toe would get to pick her own successor.

There are too many scary candidates to finish that thought.

They are going after guns, Biden and Harris.

From what I've read and seen, its their main goal.

They want you disarmed and helpless.

They just want Americans to think they are. They won't need to after they have the military under their control.

They're going after Israel.
