Meanwhile, Israel allows pal refugees to shoot off rockets while the eye in the sky meticulously categorizes launch sites and other small arms covers. I'm sure our firepower is more than enough for any wannabe small arsenal. Not much left since last year.

Sorry to be stupid here but what does invoking article 5 mean?

it means that if one nato member is attacked, all nato members are obligated to defend. it is the backbone of the alliance.

So Turkey has attacked and Russia retaliated with missiles but they were shot down. That means NATO is on the hook, and all its alliance countries. In other words, this "is" world war 3.

as i understand it, turkey assassinated an iranian general in iran? so russia launched cruise missles into turkey, which were shot down by the patriot system. all of this is pretty credible afaik but still unconfirmed.

on paper, yes if one nato member is attacked and calls for aid (article 5) then the other members are obligated to fight and defend.

in the real world, we are going to have to wait and see. the situation is fluid im sure.

Alright. I cannot get confirmed confirmation on all of it (if you get my drift) but here goes...make of it what you will.

Turkey was set to invade Syria but then the air space violations occurred.....threw that out.

The stray missiles that hit Iran...Turkey fired them and took out Hamedani....he was the main link between SAA and IRG. Our subs assisted. Russia/Iran confirm missiles were not Russian but won't deny hits.

Russia responded with cruise missiles...Turkish patriot took them down. That was the explosion seen in the air.

Turkey is invoking article 5. That was why NATO came out with the cryptic message this morning....CONFIRMED.

The call up of additional NATO troops for the Baltics is CONFIRMED.

Was also told that tensions are EXTREMELY HIGH with China atm...this too is CONFIRMED.

Earlier this year, anti-Chinese sentiment in Turkey was so high that there were protest marches with Turks burning Chinese flags and attacking Chinese merchants. Their relationship has stayed very strained.

China also built Iran's first satellite and sent technologists and scientists to train Iranians to maintain it [now them].

China clearly is offering support to Russia in their endeavors in Syria.

Given this, its not surprising that China would be enraged by the situation as outlined by Jazzy.

welcome to the party

Jazzy has given us the item to watch - it's called the next

move - Turkey to show her hand - she will not do that until

assets are in place - you would have to understand what Obama

will allow this joint chiefs to do - Turkey will not invade

Syria without clear understanding of the position of Nato

and assets in place - China has hardware in the theater

Russia has all assets in much better global stance than US

Jazzy is pure in her intent - she has confirmed intent of action but that trigger has yet to be pulled

I am out of the loop - I served with a Top Secret clearance

in the early 70s - the game has changed yet many things do not

change - Russia made the first play and Obama was playing a

soft hand hoping that black opps Cia personnel working with

arabs on the ground could get what many wanted - truth it

was working and why you see Russia making a rash move

Turkey sees itself in it's former power base and a conduit

of energy through the region - Now all that is up in the air

Russia has made it's move - that is why I said they crossed

the line - They exposed the intent to be the Power in the

in the face of Turkey and with great joy in the streets of

Iran -

I am going to stop typing - just understand this next move

will be open warfare with 70 years of weaponry to be brought

out in the open - Nato- look up who make up this collection

of Nations vs Syria / Iran / Russia / China / even NK

then you have small Israel with one of the best armed military powers in the world sitting next door -

Blessing to all

I had no idea Saudis where so in the middle of all this

There were no plans to deploy the force to Turkey, though the Nato secretary general, Jens Stoltenberg, suggested its existence alone should discourage future Russian or Syrian incursions into Turkish territory.

“We don’t have to deploy the Nato response force or the spearhead force to deliver deterrence,” Stoltenberg said. “The important thing is that any adversary of Nato will know that we are able to deploy.”

Saudi Arabia, a leading supporter of Syrian rebels fighting to overthrow Bashar al-Assad, was said by diplomats to be preparing to step up its support, having despaired of the US. Ministers from Qatar and Turkey, the Saudis’ partners in the fight against Assad, are holding talks on their next moves.

Riyadh’s anger over Vladimir Putin’s intervention was reflected in a statement by 55 leading clerics, including prominent Islamists, urging “true Muslims” to “give all moral, material, political and military” support to the fight against Assad’s army as well as Iranian and Russian forces.

Shalom Noble.

Thanks. Just check this page. It's all here.
 Quoting: JazzyG

Hmm... Well, Erdogan's bloody wetdream fantasy of creating a new Ottoman Turkish Empire is quite big indeed and it will be equally big when he and the rest of the Turkey falls hard and heavy. It truly makes me wonder if the average Turk civilian is aware of what is happening and how it will affect them overall. Erdogan's attack against Iran has not fallen deaf to the Islamic Republic and I'm sure they've got their S.F. units and other sleeper agents ready to wreak some serious havoc and vengeance against Erdogan's people. Plus, he still has China to worry about due to his support of the TIP (Uyghur) group there. Russia will act of course. Lots of serious payback is coming to Turkey in short order. All brutal. All bloody. All unforgiving. Hence, the cowardly act of Erdogan calling for an Article 5 directive with NATO because it is all about to get nasty in a very big way.

Iran will have to lick its wounds with the loss they've suffered, but like many Islamic countries, thy have sufficient numbers to recover and handle that loss. The gains that will be made in Syria and by default, Iraq will be more than recompense to the Iranian government.

The Russian Federation is simply handling business the way they know how to. Putin wants to secure a portion if not all of Israel's oil reserve field. Netanyahu knows this and thus the bargaining and back room dealings happening in real-time. Assad will have little say on the matter unless he opt to make an issue out of the Golan belonging to Syria and not Israel. Netanyahu will counter with the Golan being a war trophy and a rightful spoil of war. No matter how the UN tries to spin their lop-sided POV on the matter, a war trophy/spoil of war is the right of the victor. Period

Israel will not be so willing to give up the one vital resource that makes them a major power in the region. So, how will the Enemy take it away from them? CBRN Warfare. It is brutal, efficient, and it takes zero prisoners. If no one has ever been an NBC environment, it's beyond hellish, that's all I have to say on the matter... I pray for the lives of Israel for it may take them by surprise.

In the U.S., Hussein Obama has opted to send a sacrifice to test out PLAN/PLA defenses and resolve in the South China Sea. The USN simply does not the full power of their assets to handle that threat, but they will follow Hussein Obama's orders to the death apparently. Watch as the newest toys from both sides gets put to the real test as real lives hangs in the balance. I cannot begin to fathom what that will look like. Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, the whole of IndoChina/Pacifica/Oceania will hang in the balance of who "wins" out that encounter. The order have been given. It is just a matter of who deploys and how strong they will be once they cross the 12 nautical mile line into ChiCom waters.

There is simply too much to go over, but now this, it is all about to get very interesting and violent. I pray for everyone. The world sanity and compassion, not this mess that is coming, but things are beyond our control so we need to simply roll with it and stay informed and connected as much as possible.

Stay frosty.

Agreed. Turkey is Russia's natural companion (I won't go so far as to say ally), their protests notwithstanding. And their connection to the rest of the ME is obvious. The got into NATO to provide scope for Western powers to set up shop there and secure the Bosphorus if need be. Do you really think Turkey is going to stand up against the Caspian Sea fleet, the Black Sea fleet, and its supplier of oil, when said supplier is allied with the entire Muslim world and all Erdogan's power comes from his endorsement by the anti-West Muslim clerics the people blindly follow?

You misunderstand me friend. Russia and Turkey are ancient enemies. Turkey has actively worked to destabilize the former Soviet republics in most of Central Asia by sending money for mosques and Salafist teachers to these very loosely Islamic places.

Moscow does not like this. But the enmity goes much deeper. When I say they should be allies, I mean in a world without history, for if they could tolerate each other, they would rule a great deal of Asia.

Still think the US is going to be allies with Gog uMagog in the long run now that Obama is arming the Kurds? Watch how fast they flip / capitulate to Russia. Especially if NATO ignores Turkey invoking Article 5 (or splits up; the cracks are already beginning to show).

If the report is true in reference to a Russian fighter being shot down by the Turks, one can expect serious retaliatory response from Russia be given in kind.

On another note, there is almost zero news on Israel here from the MSM. No big surprise, yet it's a damn shame. All of the MSM is the damn Ministry of Love from Orwell's 1984.

They will burn for it too. They think themselves immune from being held accountable. They are wrong.
