While I believe this is true. We surely could have told them no.

Unfortunately, I think this would have pushed them to be friendlier with Russia so they could still get what they wanted. I don't think there was a 'good' choice for Trump to make.

Pulling troops out at least prevents the loss of American life which I gotta say I care more about than the kurds.
