I guess you conveniently forgot about the bus bombings, car rammings, cafe bombings, schoolyards pelted with cement blocks, cars and pedestrians assaulted, stabbings of civilians, kidnapping and murdering of children, etc, etc, etc that occurred before/after that.

It's a hell of a lot simpler than that, AC. The reason Israel doesn't finish them off is it would be condemned by the United Nations and would be attacked from all sides by every Muslim army in the region. They have to play this tit-for-tat game or they end up in a much larger war, and possibly a world war. Even though Scripture says they win in the end, their secular government can't rely on prophecy as a tool of public policy, so they play the game.

And you do have an agenda or you wouldn't be suggesting the Palestinian terror groups are proxies of Israel.
