Hi, Guys. Finally got electricity back this afternoon. That was one hell of a hurricane. Blew part of the barn down. Uprooted a huge old China tree at the end of the house. Thank God it fell away from the house and into the pasture. Limbs down everywhere. Kids had to evacuate from Lake Charles again. It is torn all to hell there.
I have never heard the wind make such horrible noises. It was pure evil. My sister called crying and scared to death because she heard the banshee screaming in the the wind. This has been a storm like no other we have been through and we have been through many of them. Just glad to still be here.
