I had someone tell me tonight that government agencies are to compartmentalized. Each person or division only handles a single function. This means very few have the big picture? The people who work really do not know what they work for or on? They are told it is good, but is it? This disturbs me. Call me naïve, maybe I am, but they even admit they are not certain that what they do is for the purpose they are told. Government has grown to big and convoluted? Hundreds working and no one knows what the next desk is doing? Just saying????

Yes, but what if division A has the computer thread to cure a heinous disease but it must go to division B. And division B must check it to be certain it matches SOP. Then it goes to division C and they say yes it looks good but then the folks at division E say no we do not like this? The folks at division A never know it did not reach the intended location??
