I'm an atheist so I have no agenda to promote or protect any "holy book" whatsoever. To me it is all bullshit. Literally. But that's another topic of discussion.
Let me say this though -- America was founded on Christian principals. There is no denying that those very principals made America the greatest country to ever exist and as America slowly loses her Christian principals, we can see the result -- this is a sinking ship, fast.
Those who forget where they came from soon find out how fast their end comes.
I'm not promoting atheism as that is a personal choice and I believe humans have not evolved far enough to accept the truth that there is no god, which is why we must maintain our Christian heritage.

I've done a lot of traveling, have a love of history, and at the age I am now, I sort of am history. LOL I'll tell you this right now. America truly used to be #1, but it's not #1 any longer. It has slid horribly downhill and is unrecognizable from what it used to be. Maybe you're too young to have ever known any better.
