The piece that many people miss, most purposefully, if that the Judeo-Christian moral framework was just that: a moral framework. Small minded people contend that one must either accept every word of the bible literally or discard it completely. Wiser men see it for what it is...the wisdom of the ages told in parable; mixed with legend, propaganda, and allegory from various times in our history, that provides a path for men to live side by side in relative peace.
The Bible is probably the most important document in the Western world, and is in fact the underpinnings of our society whether one is able to accept that or not.
Personally I don't believe in "God", but I do believe in the value of the 10 commandments and the basis of Judeo-Christian values and ethics.

I am tired of attacks against Christians because of what Israel does or bcause of the 'stoning; raping and killing' that are abundant in the Old Testament. It seems to me like Christians are being made the scape goat for everyone elses problems.
