Someone had the Yahoo News article up earlier. What caught me was what they said on the radio about it being the 7th IS sympathizer in the last 10 days that's been arrested.

Just gives me a headache the entire lot of it...

This is just another setup by US Govt agents to justify their measly existence and measly continued existence.
We will see it again and again as they get more desperate.
They may even allow one of their stooges to succeed in the attack to bring more realism into their events.

I totally agree when I heard the part that the FBI supplied him with the materiel to make the bomb I knew it was a all a bunch of lies.But remember we where never in any danger. :)

"John Booker Jr. who went by the name Mohammed Abdullah Hassan spent time at Flint Hills Job Corps, a technical training program in Manhattan, a couple years ago.

Layton Harris lived on the same floor of the dorm as Booker. He said he spent a lot of time around him, but said Booker had few, if any, friends.

'He didn't really have any friends, he tried to make friends, but no one would be his friend because he was just a weird person to be around,' Harris said. 'John Booker was the type that would just come into a room and hear a conversation and start arguing about it, on a subject he had no idea about. Then would get upset and say, I wouldn't say they were hateful comments, but they would catch you or me off guard and people didn't know how to take it.'

According to an FBI complaint filed in federal court, Booker unknowingly met with an FBI informant in November of 2014."

In those conversations, agents said Booker expressed 'his desire to engage in violent jihad on behalf of ISIL' and he wanted to join the Army because 'I was going to go in there and kill the American soldier.' The conversation went on for several months.

In December of 2014, the FBI complaint said that Booker proposed a plan to the undercover agent.

'...was to get a gun or a grenade and kill American soldiers at a local base (one of the closest military bases to where Booker resides in Fort Riley).'

'It progressed to the point where he actually thought that he had a thousand pound bomb and that he was going to commit, as I understand, he was going to be a suicide bomber at the Fort Riley base.'"

Front page of the Topeka paper had a couple articles on this today, and what caught my eye was they had an informant build the "bomb" for him so they were sure it was "inert".

I kinda feel bad for the kid, seems like the real story here is that instead of him getting the help he needed some joker in the FBI found a useful patsy....watch the person who brought this in is going to get a promotion for "stopping domestic terrorists".

A crazy twist to this--and no I can not verify with links and such--my friends son who is in the N.G. was told this past week-end to have all family and friends change any of their social media that has them linked to anyone in the Military as family to other...untag any pics linking them etc... Supposedly thousands of Soldiers in Kansas are on the Islamic Hit list... That Islamic Terrorist have their names and some personal data on these soldiers... The N.G. were told to show up for drills in civilian clothing and rerouted through Junction to the FT. Riley base.. I am waiting for my house mate to get home to see if he can verify anything, as he is retired Military..

My son-in-law here in Wichita, KS, is full-time Air Force National Guard. He did say that they were told to take all pictures of them in uniforms off of their social media. So far, we are still connected on social media and he has not told me to discontinue our connection. Will go ahead and put feelers out to my daughter to see if anything has changed since we saw them Sunday night.

Update: My daughter says that he is still wearing his uniform and hasn't been told anything with regard to social media, other than to remove all pictures of him in military uniform.
