But why would he be a guy? Why would God be masculine when the only reason for the male sex is to fertilize females? Being male is simply the ability to deliver sperm in order to fertilize. Likewise, to be female is to be fertile to receive sperm. For either to exist, they only exist for the other.

It makes no sense for an infinite being to have existed for eternity before creation yet have a penis or vagina. It is completely illogical.

You're attaching too much importance to the term "Female" as it applies to sexual gender and genitalia.

Female/Male is also a word used to describe negative and positive polarity of magnetics or the input/output of electricity.

It is by virtue of these things that God can ONLY be called "Male"

One would attribute Spirit to Male or Positive polarity and Matter/Void to Female principal.

Ultimately, there is no inherent consciousness in matter, it is only through a cosmic accident that sentient, intelligence consciousness manifests in flesh.

That doesn't change the fact that a male is only a male due to the sex organs. Therefore, if God is male, he has a penis. If she is female, she has a vagina. But for either to exist for eternity before creation, it makes no sense whatsoever to have any genitals when the only reason they exist is for the other sex.

So either God ISN'T any sex (which I think is the most logical), or there is a God AND a Goddess. In my honest opinion, duality is just an abstract expression made for this universe, and to project it onto higher levels of reality is really silly on our behalf.

Well, it's an abstract way of thinking about it, but as an expression of this particular universe, and using nature as a reference, I would agree with you that femininity is the more obvious expression of divine order.

But it's a rabbit hole, you know. For we can go further, and look at the constituents of this universe and underlying forces and laws from which this universe is bound. When viewed from the perspective of outward invisible forces (such as the emergence of gravity and particle physics), things take on a more masculine or positive expression.

Jesus was born from a woman - from a vagina. And it seems reasonable that he had a penis - hence making him a man.

I think you have missed the logic I was trying to describe before, regarding the superfluous nature of having any sex ascribed to an omniscient creator for an eternity prior to creation. But you seem a little inflexible with your thinking on this matter. And you probably think my way of thinking is strange.
