I am from Guam - And No Body Gives A Fuk... what I say or post...

Got a friend who owns some apartments on Guam you probably know him.

I am from Guam only moved out to the US mainland for medical issues. If you want to retire in peace Guam is your huckleberry its relaxed not to much crime and yes the food and women will have your head spinning!! At about 36 miles long and 17 miles wide and 243 square miles it is a small place but you will be suprised with about 180,000 people and the biggest K-Mart in the world lol. Guam is the biggest island in the micronesian chain with about 7 islands making that chain we are a mayo polynesian decent my island sits on top of two extinct volcanoes with the Mariana Trench as my back yard. The US has two huge bases one being the Navy in the south part of the island and Airforce at the Northern tip and our economy caters to tourism with the Japanese being the main contributors to our economy. If you want to know Guam ask me born and raised there and its the best little dam island you want to live in. Hafa Adai (means hello in Chamorro)

Guam Lives Matter

Are there times when there are traffic issues? I have heard that can make it hard to move around easily. Is this true?

I lived there in 1969 - 1970 & it was beautiful & not commercialized like it is now...there were no hotels on the beach..it was very different...I loved it.

Yes sadly traffic can be very bad but its such a short course driving thing on guam you can be there or anywhere in 20 min no matter what. Most roads are two lanes but the northern side for about 16 miles is 4 with the speed limit at 45 mph and 35 on the local roads. Not a bad thing and no road rage everybody loves anybody and air conditioning is a must lol!!

This use to be a sight of folks thinking outside the box and against the 1% ...

Now its a bunch of non working, brain washed 1% supporters ...

I was there when that earthquake happened - on a Sunday morning, if I recall.

It was a tough couple of years. The year before, we had Typhoon Omar rip through, arguably a Cat 5.

My thanks to You for Your service! I never got above explorer scout but do work with a lot ex military in the airlines. Fine people. I often regret never signing up, I would have been good i think. One of my very close friends is a green beret! I was holding his beret just a month ago, it was an emotional but very good evening.

We do care and we do pay attention, it's a matter of exploding on screen and You just did :)

I make Beef Jerky in Guam, only it's not beef. I sell a helluva lot of it online. I am sorta rich from my Guam endeavors, I like Guam.

I worked for a law office in Honolulu. When I would pick up clients arriving from Guam, the people all waiting in the baggage claim, and those waiting for their luggage were always the strangest looking people. Weird as hell looking, small mostly ugly, some very fat. It was like a melting pot of ugly, like all the human races you shouldn't crossbreed got together one drunken night... I'm not sure but it could be the native chamorro that are so cursed with looking so unappealing to the eye, but the mixing of micro, poly and any-nesian with Black GI and Jap sex tourist, throw in a little abo too, well, a more strange looking lot than those in the arrival area of flights from Guam cannot be found.
I would go back to the office and me and the staff would crack up for hours making jokes about Guam folks
