Putin: Russia to build its own Space Station by 2023!!!

Another fake moon landing, great. On the bright side some advancements have been made. I would suggest 'the Moon' be located at the end of the crack that is the Atlantic rift. Russia would have the best spot and doing underwater mining with bubbleless 'air-ships' that descent and ascent once loaded with goodies. On the bright side the 'loot' would be like 1,000's of tons of pure gold, every year for as long as you wanted to mine it so the money flow would be the opposite to what is was in the first fake moon landing. Hudson Bay would be the North American version and the best stuff might be harder to get if ice rather than water is encountered

why would any country want a space station?

That is with the money saved by not going into space with anything bigger than a garbage can. Underwater mining would see supertankers sunk and then refloated with a full payload destined to some Russian arctic sub base. I'm going to assume the surface ice in the winter will slow down piracy on the high seas.

How many cameras can Russia put up with 1 heavy lift? Something like cluster bombing your own skies with 'cameras' that can 'fall out of orbit' at Mach35 as it is mostly a vacuum.

Not sure if he was talking about this or some other project there doing by themselves. Cause NASA wants to try to extend the life of the current ISS before working on the new one...

If I read correctly, Putin wants an independent Russian Space Station because of the short life left of the ISS.
Sounds like he's out of that new ISS deal.
