Supernatural things you have seen and experienced

At age three I was laying between my parents in bed. Saw a shadow man looking thing wearing a cloak. No eyes,no nose,just a mouth smiling my way.
I covered my head and don't remember anymore.

Aw hugs but there's more.
In the same country place, cousin L and me were in her brother's car talking.
We began hearing loud otherworldly moans.
We ran into the house as fast as we could go!
Told Auntie who thought we were crazy.
A couple of weeks later Auntie told me about a week before she heard the lady in white too.
And she saw her. In a veil and all with no face.
You see,the lady in white is headless

Here's another experience.
Was sleeping on Auntie and Uncle's couch.
Got up to get a drink of water when I saw in the window the reflection of a boy in their chair via the window.
He turned his head and was looking straight at me!
I said to myself,"To Hell with that water!"
Grabbed my pillow and blanket and slept next to Aunt's and Uncle's door the rest of the night.
When I told them what had happened the next morning.
They told me how,the cousin of mine,their nephew, before he'd been shot and killed at age 13, told them he'd spend the summer if ever they got a farm.
Well I guess my cousin Kenneth did.

I got home from work last week at about 2 AM, and could've sworn I saw a humanoid walking on my roof. It was gone when I looked again. I'm still freaked, honestly. I haven't even told anyone yet.

I one night i kept hearing scratching on the wall on the outside of my house, it was freaky, but It was windy so i think it was just the wind. I have also heard footsteps on my roof late at night, like somebody was walking on it.

My grandmother made my 5th birthday. She was in Saigon with her husband and, on my 5th bday, she was in the living room with my mom. She had a package. I said, "oh gramma, did you bring me the pok-a-dot dress??"

My grandmother whispered to my mother, I opened my gift and, there it was......my pok-a-dot dress.

I wore it in my kindergarten picture....

Lived in a house on a hill overlooking a funeral home.
Husband was working as I watched a 9 year old niece,10 year old nephew, and my girls ages 5 years and 8 months.
Was telling them stories when the bells went off.
I had these Jingle bells you had to push up and they played jingle bells.
Well it did it itself.
The children followed me as I went first.
Turned it off,though God knows how it came on in the first place.
As we came back I noticed my eldest daughter stayed behind a bit.
All of a sudden she came running and buried her head in my stomach.
It wasn't til years later she told me what had happened.
When she looked into the window she saw a demonic face with rotten jagged teeth and bloody face.
That window happened to be two stories up

What i've seen may not be articulated

Around 25 years ago a younger man came into our church.
He had all kind of credentials and social references.
He sought our Pastor to help him get ordained.

Our Pastor was quiet spoken, good hearted, well grounded in common sense and the unwavering path.

While in the church following a meeting one evening the new man showed a different side of him self.
There were at least 9-10 of us still shutting things down for the night.

He stood in the isle talking to us as we were trying to leave.
I could feel something moving around me and them.
It felt like air swirling us with out any temperature or sound to it.

Like some kind of current swirling around us and I mean by around us actually against us, touching us as it went over and around us.

We never spoke of it we just listened to him go on and on and did not bring it to attention.
The new man did.
He said do you all not feel that moving amongst us?
Can you all not feel the power of the Holy Spirit amongst us?

He even applied such as that we were feeling and sensing as being from him his own self, who was surrounded by it and it upon him.

Needless to say things most certainly were moved by it and him.
And nothing was ever the same after it or him.

The church was utterly destroyed.
It was split apart, even family of long time close neighbors and member turned on each other.
One man was attacked even with him dying of cancer and abandoned by the attackers of the church.

It was not good at all it was very bad and the man that came there was bad.
The deacon that was dying came to me crying and told me do not ever go to them or back to that church.
I had to drive him in his car he drove to my house in back to his home.

And what had been done to him and many others even our Pastor, I promised him I would not.
The place was torn asunder, even the building was destroyed by a flood.

It was a bad thing a really bad thing not a good thing at all.
The new man was not right by it, he was confused.

Research where the "Jingle bells" are from. It's not so innocent but rather demonic.

When I was a child I saw a man with butterfly wings flying in front of me. He was 10-15cm tall. My parents were right next to me and didn't see a thing.
Many times I've seen lights in the sky, like falling stars, but quickly changing directions and much faster.

You don't want to know kid, it will give yeah nightmares

As a kid I used to wake up in the middle of the night and see dark men moving in the darkness. They were in the living room and I could see them through a doorway. They never paid any attention to me, but I was terrified and often ran to my parents' bed to sleep.

As an adult, I've seen my sleeping wife's face turn into a monster (the mouth spread to the ears and it was full of sharp teeth). She told me I grabbed her and shouted "Stay away from me! I know what you are!". I don't remember any of that. Also, a screaming apparition has plunged right at my face from the ceiling, and I've been woken up by something dragging bed covers off me and brushing my legs.

I try to rationalize all these as hypnagogic hallucinations. It's the logical explanation. However, when you experience these things, you start doubting the logic.

I would not be allowed to say because the hypocrites in the Church would say i am insane because in their minds they are closer to God.The atheists say the same.What is the point in me talking.Soon you will all know anyway that I never lied.

I love these kinds of threads. Just last night, I was thinking how you tend to see more out of the ordinary things when in remote areas. When I was a kid, me and a girl around my age were walking in a field next to some woods. We stopped because we thought we had heard something. Standing there, listening closely we heard an otherworldly sound. It was difficult to describe. It almost sounded like a laser, or energy weapon. In retrospect, I still can't think of what could account for that strange noise. In that area, all you should heart is the wind and wildlife.

I worked in a Mobile Shop which was in a massive old building which had once been a pub. The shop itself was a facade and seemed quite small. But behind it, the building was just massive and empty.

Originally it started with the phones on display within the shop area. The were attached to a security wire to the customer could pick the phone up but it would still be attached to the display.

The phones used to spring off the display and detach themselves without disturbing the wire or setting the alarms off.

I lived a few streets away from the shop so when the alarm would go off at night I would be called to reset it. Obviously it would happen all the time.

It moved on to hearing loud footsteps upstairs which was empty and things being dragged around.

I remember one time when a customer was getting really angry at me. There was a boom from upstairs and the lighting box in the ceiling tiles detached the glass panel and dropped dead insects all over the irate customer.

We would have to go upstairs as the only toilets were there. You had to cross through the hallways and go to the other end of the building to get to them.

You had to pass double doors which were locked and sometimes the doors would be wide open with unnatural coldness coming out of the room. There was nothing in the room. There wasn't even electricity in the room. But it was a room which filled you with dread. Sometimes the doors were open, sometimes they were not. It was potluck.

On the third floor was an old flat which had been locked up. You would sometimes hear a woman humming from upstairs.

As months past the activity started to increase with customers coming in telling us they had seen a someone staring out of the window at night.

We started to think that maybe someone was actually living in the building or hiding in there. Which would explain why the alarms were going off some nights and the sounds from upstairs.


At the end of one day we couldn't set the alarm before going home, so we had to ring the security company to come fix it. So we had to wait for them but it would be hours until they came as an engineer was needed at the security company was based a long way from the building. So the staff on that day decided to all wait together.

During the time there was a staff member (we will call him carl) who had only been there a few weeks. He was a skeptic. He did not believe in it at all. It was dark and he needed to use the toilet.
We heard go through the back and then heard him running up the stairs and through the building.
Suddenly he appeared around the door pale seconds after the sounds. We couldn't understand how he had gone upstairs and ran through the building and come back to us so quickly.

He explained that he had opened the door to the stairs and seen the back of a child run up the stairs and round the corner. Carl actually hadn't even managed to set foot on the stairs. The noise had been what he had seen.

So we grouped together and investigated. We broke into the top floor flat which up until that point we did not know that the top floor was an old flat.

The flat was empty apart from the kitchen which was still how it had been left. There was a kitchen table. An old cooker and the drawers still had cutlery in them.

On the kitchen table was an open newspaper from 1978 and an empty can of vimto from the same time.
The fireplace in the living room had been bricked up, which I am mentioning now as it is relevant later.

We went through the building together like Mystery Inc. We found nothing. No evidence of anyone. Just empty rooms.

The man came fixed the alarm and we all went home.


One night I was locking up and Carl was locking up with me. As we were stood outside locking the door to leave, I looked up to see a woman stood at the back of the shop. I said to Carl.
"Just look through the window and tell me what you see"

He looked up and as he saw her she kind of moved around the corner out of view without making any movements of walking turning. She just kind of moved too quick to the side.

It was after this experience that Carl started to get a bit weird about it all in general.

He was still a skeptic, but he was getting shaken by the events. He started to get a bit obsessed with finding out about it all. He bought those EMF detectors and speaking boxes and things. He would come in on his day off and sit in the double door room on his own for hours.

As time went on we built a good bunch of staff members.
We had weird Carl
Funny Rich
Nice Jane and myself.
(none of those are real names btw)
We had other staff members they were part timers or weekend staff.

We decided to stay one night after work and see what would happen.

Jane left because she was scared so there was me, Rich and Carl. We started in the double door room and the feeling was overwhelming in there. The cold almost suffocated you.

Rich noticed a hatch in the furthest corner on the ceiling. We lifted in and there was a floor in between floors which had been left as it was. The gas light fittings were all still there although disconnected. So someone must have been in that floor during refurb, be everything had been left and we never knew about the floor.

There boxes of Tate and Lyle sugar before Lyle got involved, just Tate's. There were old jars of jam and chutney on shelves which had been left. All the paperwork from when it had been a shop long ago.

We took some stuff out and gave the Local history museum a pick of it.

After that night the activity really ramped itself up. And the majority of it was during the day and witnessed by at least two people.

One night me and Jane were cashing up. I had my back to the massive room as I was banking and Jane was facing to the back of the office because she wouldn't turn her back on empty space in the building .

Suddenly she yelped and I turned to see what had frightened her and I saw a thick plastic sheet we used to cover the paperwork on the phone displays drop out of midair with a clatter.

Jane moved so fast like the flash and got her coat and was screaming at me near the door

"GET YOUR SHIT AND GO!"

I tried calming her down and explain that nothing happened.
She said that she saw the plastic sheet rise out of a box floating slowly to the left and hung there until I turned around and it dropped.

I told her if it can lift that, then it can throw it. But it didn't. So that's a good sign. She just waited like a dog needing to go out for a wee at the door until I was finished banking.

One day I turned to see a boy crouching and hugging his knees staring at me. He vanished in a second but I saw him and he saw me. We was wearing brown rough looking clothing. He was crouching in the same place that the plastic had landed the time before.

Carl finally became a believer when he was in bed one night and he heard a woman in his ear say "key". He said that he even felt the hair over his ear move with the breath.
He said "did that really just happen?" and the womans voice said "yes".

He was terrified and the same night had a dream about a key in the fireplace of the upstairs flat.

When he told us about this we agreed to stay another night and smash in the fireplace in the flat. So we did.

We were really shocked to find a small key bricked up behind the fireplace.

Carl kept the key, but everytime we heard the woman humming after that, we would also hear a music box.

There was so much going on it that place it was ridiculous. What was even weirder was the basement. It was a cavernous basement with tunnels which led to old smugglers tunnels which had been bricked up half way through. There were alcoves and in one alcove there was restraints on the wall.

the tunnels went on for a way under town, way past the shop. But all were bricked up at a certain point. The odd thing about the basement is that it never felt frightening down there. Not even a hint. It was calm and nothing ever happened. Even though it looked like a nightmare, nothing.

Finally we convinced the company to let us bring someone in to investigate. We contacted Most Haunted, which was popular at the time.
Living TV and Antix sent a group of people to spend the night. None of the people they used in the show. This group were there to see if it was worth sending the actual Most Haunted guys to investigate.

We stayed downstairs in the office area for the night whilst the team did vigils and whatever. They caught voices, mists, shadows and bangs. They said they would send the Most Haunted guys to film there.

Our company began sorting all the insurance business with Living tv and doing the paperwork with them when suddenly Most Haunted was cancelled off the air. So after all that they never came. I hear Most Haunted is coming back on TV. I don't work for that mobile company so I don't know if they will go back. Its been a few years since all that.


I know it seems far fetched. But it all happened.
I worked for the company for 4 years and most days something would happen. Ive only listed significant things. But we became known as the haunted shop.

In case you wanted to know where it was, it was Bridlington on the corner of chapel street.
