A political scientist says some Democrats are so desperate to find an alternative to Hillary Clinton that they are trying to drum up support for Vice President Joe Biden.

(One News Now) – The bumper stickers proclaim “I’m ridin with Biden” and show the Vice President behind the wheel of a sleek convertible. It is sponsored by Draft Biden 2016 which has a website runbidenrun.com.

“When we hear in just ordinary conversation the name Biden, it evokes a laugh,” observes Dr. Charles W. Dunn, professor emeritus of government at Clemson University and a conservative political analyst.

Dunn says Biden had a “checkered career” in the U.S. Senate, and now has a “checkered career” as Vice President, and the professor points out the number of gaffes Biden has made as No. 2 in the executive branch.

But Dunn believes that some Democrats are pushing the idea of Biden because they don’t like Hillary Clinton.
