People who dismiss people off as n00bs or sheeple are smug and insecure twits
Computers, GLP, gyms... there's always a group of people who get a kick out of trashing beginners that way.

Everyone's been a beginner at some point. Saying things like "What? You don't know? Well, I'm not gonna tell you. Learn it on your own" or "Hahaha! What a n00b question!" serves only purpose: boosting the ego and lacking self-confidence of the person saying it.

If you have the skills, it's your moral duty to share your knowledge with those who're just beginning to learn.

Maybe you worked hard to learn the dos and don'ts of an effective gym workout, but telling about it to a beginner doesn't take anything away from you. It's selfish not to share. I've been working out all my adult life and know training and the scene inside out. I know enough to give valid advice to professional PTs and I know all about the dark underbelly of the scene including juicing, the local juicers and sources. If a beginner comes to me and asks for advice, I'll certainly give it - for free and willingly. Sometimes I even offer it (when I see someone struggling or doing something dangerous).

On GLP, you drive away the honestly curious new people if you just answer their questions with "Hahaha! Google it up, n00b!", "Go back to sleep, sheeple!" or "If you have to ask, you'll never get it".

It's smug and reeks of elitism. You really think you're that high and mighty that you can refuse to mingle with the peasants? To me you sound extremely low in self-esteem and self-confidence if you feel the need to boost your ego that way.

LOL you clearly fell for the so many trolls on GLP. Many of people on here just say anything without thinking about the consequences but there are also people who offer advice.

^^THIS^^

OP you're right. Those who don't wanna share their knowledge and just brag about their "wisdom" are just egoistic, selfish, worthless, useless biggots.
