ah the good ole days!!!

i think it was under Clinton? maybe?

i cant remember the exact word for it, they called it cash ____ supplement? maybe? i can't remember.

it used to come it seems, once on your tax return in April, and the like sometime in the early fall possibly? i think everyone got the same amount, or it might have came 2 amounts, it was like $600-$750, i think it happened 2 or 3 years in a row, with maybe another lingering year in there somewhere later, i remember it was really cool, because (i probably just wasn't very aware of this type of stuff back then) i never knew when the check was coming/expected it... then BOOM! they say quantitive easing time!! and in a week the check is mailed and arrived in typical IRS time 4-5 weeks, direct deposit was pretty uncommon back then so i remember waiting on the checks to come! 600 bucks back then spends like 1600 does now. (that might have actually been the term i was trying to think of earlier)

I believe that was under Bush.

Can't imagine a Democrat ever giving back a tax! It was supposed to help the economy after 9-11, I think.

Part of Bush tanking the budget from surplus to record deficits. We peons got a few hundred, and his elite handlers got millions. Then 2 wars were put on the credit card, the economy crashed and now it's Obama's fault lol.

The so-called budget surplus was just that, on paper only and even that brought about by the Republican congress, not Clinton. But the real, problem is not a budget deficit but national debt.

Unemployment rate under both Bush and Clinton was lower than Obama who has amassed more debt that ALL the previous Presidents COMBINED!

Obama expanded the war in Afghanistan and more of our troops have been killed under his watch than BUsh.

At least with Bush, people had jobs!

Yes, the current economy is totally the result of Obama and his stimulus packages which were nothing more than bribes to his donors. It is definitely his fault after being in office this long.

It was under Bush, baby. In 2002, the economy took a dive under Greenspan. That was to stimulate the economy. You sure won't see that kind of generosity under the socialist leftist regime we have now.
