Our local news reports that the Finnish Navy are using hand grenades to repel the intruder. Perhaps it was a mistranslation of the Swedish word "granat" which could mean an artillery shell as well. I doubt a submarine could take much damage by poor sailors standing on deck, tossing frag grenades down into the ocean :D

The NRK article I linked to first said they used shock grenades, but that has since been deleted from the article.

Not boubt about damege, if was hit. Finnish ships firing from RBU-1200 at least. May be series heavy depth charges from stern racks. Attack in our submarine mean war. If I was commder this submarine and survive from attack, so start sunk any ships go to or from Finland and not retutrn with torpedoes.
