It's not a lot of money, but what's important is the precedent that's been set, and that federal foot that's now in the door.

Baltimore riots definitely have the administration salivating for another opportunity.

ObamaLaw is the most serious threat facing this country, IMO.

I am in Hammond, which is right next to Gary. A lot of the criminals come over the border from Gary, do crimes, and then just run back. A couple of decades or so ago, the crime runs down 165th street from Gary to Hammond got so bad, they blocked off 165th street at the Gary border.
Gary is really bad. The ambulances and firetrucks from Gary have bullet holes in them.

Do you think federal involvement is necessary, or will be helpful?

It is a waste of time and money. The best they could do for Gary, is bulldoze the whole city, except for the Miller section, and start over.

Seems like it. I only know of Gary through it's consistent placing in the top of the crime stats.

I expect very little muscle from this Federal involvement, I expect it'll be racial counseling/sensitivity and lots of "recommendations" that will be tied to federal funds eventually.

For those of you who are on Fluoride, or are just a little slow, when the Federal Government Funds and Controls the Policies, Training and Actions of your State, and City Police they are then working Directly for the Empire/New World Order and you will be treated as the Enemy Rebel Army in StarWars.

You stand up against the Empire, you will get the boot or the blaster.

And with the NSA spying on Everything you do and say you will eventually say something they do not like and be rounded up for questioning, if you protest you may even get a wild ride in the back of a van that will break your neck.

The big problem with federalized police is that it's started with good intentions.

The good intention is that if it's federal, there won't be any corruption and there won't be any dirty good ol boys holding the city in a corrupt way.

Then you look at other federalized police-similar groups in federal government, guess what? They have never outrun their corruption.

So if they could not outrun their corruption, like even with DHS with it's child exploitation problems, how is a federalized police going to be any different than the feds with handcuffs?

What it is is police on steroids, in a metaphor, not actual chemicals. They're going to be more than just cops; it will be like the fbi plus the power to arrest people instead of having to go through local courts. Two birds, one stone, get rid of the feebs, and get rid of the police, hybridize them into one level of police.

It seems well until when it's across the country, it's pass/fail on life. See, currently, a crook can wiggle his way out of obligation by running to the other side of the political fence in some other state. Put the police under a monopoly, as even currently some police are disrespected by sovereign citizen types of people for their franchise formation, that --- at first I thought, oh hey now there's no two rockefeller/rothchild types of police with political party controls in lands, and then I realized, oh, police state.

Long term hindsight in history tells me when the African cultured leader -- as obama has not many generations grounded in usa -- that when a leader reverts to his feelings of how its run, and government does stick on people culturally, that eventually, it's going to be a discreditable system. Because of a monarchy system of police. It stinks I have to say it because thats what I think I know, it reverts to tribalism; then with such an obedience level of police, you'd need a warlord to survive the political permanency in the politics like that. Where currently there is a chance, just be on that other side of politics in the 2 party police controlled system, there won't be the other chance.

And I'm sorry to bring up that bias but it's what he's got, and for all the people to get it, maybe it's not what they want. I'd rather find votes on that. There is always people when given the monopoly who will say no, that's why traditionally there was a vice president to take the rein of people who didn't want the president, that in the party system 1st place in votes got prez and 2nd place in votes got vice prez, there was no P+VP system in the original USA plans. And that way everybody got served by leaders. It's not that way, it's eithe/or, pass/fail, not levels of living that real countries have to endure, and the only way to make everything fit politically is to eradicate the dissidents in a one-police place without having regard for all the voters somewhere...as if politicians hear voters these days, are there any legal voters surviving?

President Eisenhower federalizes the Arkansas National Guard


On Monday, September 23, 1957, President Dwight D. Eisenhower issued proclamation 3204 demanding anyone involved with the obstruction of justice to disperse.
When his order was not followed, Eisenhower federalized the entire Arkansas National Guard the following day and unit members began assembling at home stations throughout the night.
By order of the president, the National Guard was thus directed to support the integration rather than block it as the units had been before.
On the 24th, elements of the 101st Airborne Division began arriving at Little Rock to provide additional support and took up positions around Central High.
That same day, Adjutant General Clinger met with the commander of the Arkansas Military District and was ordered to assemble a force at Camp Robinson for duty at Central High. Those units were:[3]
1st Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment
3rd Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment
39th Military Police Company and
Company D, 212th Signal Battalion.
This force, consisting of 107 officers, fifteen warrant officers and 1,184 enlisted men closed on Camp Robinson just after noon on the 25th.
The National Guard soldiers were told, "Our mission is to enforce the orders of the federal courts with respect to the attendance at the public schools of Little Rock of all those who are properly enrolled, and to maintain law and order while doing so…Our individual feelings towards those court orders should have no influence on our execution of the mission."
One Arkansas Guard major was quoted as saying, "We have been ordered to maintain the peace and that is what we intend to do." The remainder of Arkansas National Guard units remained at home stations, conducting daily formations and training, but taking no part in the actual operations around Central High School.

Yes this is the start of a full-fledged police state dictatorship. Police operations won't be subject to any local or state-legislated laws--just Obama's. No 'citizen review' boards, no accountability.

Bye-bye sheriffs. I am sure these cities do NOT have knowledgable sheriffs; either that or they are not constitutional sheriffs. I say that because the sheriffs in those cities just lost their power. Maybe not right away, but they will.

Not good! Connecticut doesn't have sheriffs. We see how corrupt that state is, and no local leadership for them. I suppose Connecticut was the "test" state.

Fort Worth is not predominantly black, I like here. Can't figure out why they are on the list except that the FW Police have definitely suffered from thugitis. Notorious for their abuses. I think they picked cities where the cops are already corrupt

I'm thinking we need to get some type of open communications to the cops themselves.

Considering most cops are regular folks just earning a paycheck, they have no idea how the elite (govt) use them as pet animals

they are exceeding their authority of jurisdiction

it means more fraud will be conducted against the people
