As a landlord in the lease does it say you have permission to paint? If it does you should be ok. Otherwise you may have to re-paint. That's why I say never ever paint somebody else's property no matter if you get permission if you don't like the colors don't move in.

I would call your rental agreement agency you should have something like that in your area and I would not be asking something like that on an online conspiracy theory website. Go and ask the professionals if you aren't sure. Talk to them first before you agree to anything.
