Re: Feeling awesome!
During my hike through the woods yesterday , i came across a robin, the poor guy was all tangled up in fishing string . At first i thought he'd swallowed a hook , but luckily he didnt.. after about 5 minutes or so i was able to get the string from around his little neck, i then loosened my grip and the little guy took off completely unharmed.. it was an amazing feeling knowing i was able to help him!

Very cool OP, I had a hummingbird fly full speed into my sliding glass door and I thought for sure he was dead....he was apparently struggling (I saw him twitching ) so to comfort him I picked him up and gently rubbed his chest with my finger....His heartbeat slowed noticeably and I figured he was dying, but much to my surprise he rolled over onto his feet and sat on my finger for about 5 minutes before flying away as if to say thank you! He came back for the next few days and sat on my patio chair each day and then one day he stopped coming but I will always remember my experience as the hummingbird whisperer !

That little guy reminds me of a tiny baby robin my siblings and I rescued when I was about 10yo. We fed him raw hamburger and cut up worms and he ended up growing up and flying away but he always came back every Spring. We knew it was him because he never learned how to sing and only tweeted "Beep-Boop, beep-boop, beep-boop" over and over! That was actually what we named him!
