This is the one that did it for me. My uncle rented it at sleep over when we were like 7 or 8.

His house was deep in the Oregon woods(Ruch) and had 2 story glass windows. We would sleep under them at night.

I think sleeping under glass windows after watching a scary movie would make it worse. I guess I'd want to see the killer coming but I wouldn't want to be sleeping under his entry point

You didn't watch the trailer.

Don't recommend the movie if you haven't seen it.

He also rented us this doozy..the same year it dropped.

I didn't watch the trailer no. Juggling a bunch of things so I couldn't really pull it up. But I'm not fond of horror...not sensitive to it anymore in particular, but still. It can be comical when done wrong. But what's the benefit when done right? The thrill of fear? I guess that's all it really is. It's great if you're a guy on a date because fear stimulates the sex response. Impending death makes us want to procreate

Watcher in the Woods

The Watcher in the Woods is a 1980 American supernatural horror film directed by John Hough and Vincent McEveety and starring Bette Davis, Carroll Baker, Lynn-Holly Johnson, Kyle Richards, and David McCallum.

Based on the 1976 novel by Florence Engel Randall, the film tells the story of a teenage girl and her little sister who become encompassed in a supernatural mystery regarding a missing girl in the woods surrounding their new home in the English countryside.

Filmed at Pinewood Studios and the surrounding areas in Buckinghamshire, England, The Watcher in the Woods was one of several live-action films produced by Walt Disney Productions in the 1980s, when the studio was targeting young adult audiences.

The film had its premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City in April 1980, but was pulled from release after ten days, and future screenings were canceled by the studio due to an overwhelming negative response from critics and audiences.

The Shining is warmed crap compared.

The Watcher in the Woods had a limited release showing at New York City's Ziegfeld Theatre beginning April 17, 1980. Initially, the studio had planned to expand the film's release to between 600 and 700 theaters by June 1980. However, following an overwhelmingly negative reaction from audiences and critics, the film was pulled from the Ziegfeld Theater after only 10 days, and other scheduled screenings were canceled.

The negative response prompted Disney to undertake reshoots of the film's ending, which cost the production an additional $1 million.

First night review...

Arrived pretty late but I still managed to have the cover washed and on the blanket by 10:30pm.

Cover does take some time and effort to get on, but once on, fit perfect.

At 15lbs the blanket feels heavier than thought I thought it would. Does feel the best draped out flat over the top but feels nice bunched up too.

First night I would say it cut down on tossing and turning by 50% but I was also checking my dog routinely to make sure he had enough air. He did eventually choose to sleep on top of the blanket or with his head out.

Positive overall for first night.

I'm a side sleeper. When I can't sleep, I flip from side to side and then usually give up, and go to the couch to see if I can sleep better there.

Which I often do. I think this blanket will be perfect for that. Might be too heavy for my bed.

I did like the way it felt if I laid on my back, but I can't sleep like that.

Since I am on the topic of reviewing products, I thought I would add this little miracle that suddenly found its way into my life rather recently..
