Who noticed it's called, Rapture? Rapture has 3 meanings to me. One being akin to bliss. Two: The prophesied (inbody raising) of the 'faithful' before the 'end of the world'. And third...Bioshock. Did you watch Star Trek as a youth and ever have fantasies of what you would 'do in a Holodeck', if only you could? [ link to en.wikipedia.org] Looks like we just took a giant step closer, to that being a reality. Often times technology is presented and sold to the public as a good or fun thing in order to promote its wide scale acceptance. The reality is that there is always a dark side for the intended use of the same technology that is not revealed until its use is thoroughly incorporated. There is a darkside to Man, in general. Offer anyone the chance to walk into a VR of their choosing, they may just call IT, Heaven...
