The most you have been able to accomplish from someone who did not initially want what you were offering is to make them equate success with stopping the pain and not dying. Once they no longer believe even that, what incentive could there possibly be?

I don't care to hear your whining about what you believe I think, feel or do. You made a good point, so I played off it. What keeps a person going is often revenge. Turn it on me and I'll set you loose. Lady, I just want to leave. I don't have obligations to strangers. If my 'happy place' disgusts you, then stop looking. I'm not a vengeful type, I just leave people. And stop believing in them.
