As for an AI god... I've read, and considered both possible outcomes - heaven and hell if you prefer. Would it be benevolent and care for humanity? Or... One would hope it also sees the good in humanity, while dredging thru the muck. Tay learned a lot more, thanks in part to the trolls at 4chan's /pol/ board. I haven't watched the last two vids yet, but we are definitely thinking along the same lines. I was just considering earlier that 'trolls' could be equated to demons..depending on how vile or nasty their posts are. It has descend into monkeys flinging $hit really. Sometimes you have to wonder... 1st vids Roko on steroids. Psychologically torturing uploaded human consciousness on a loop for lolz. 2nd is AI raising up to true AI status , attempting a peaceful co-existence with humanity - and having war declared on them. Eh bit more but short summary Heh. Guess it could be considered as such. Certainly channeling a particular aspect. Can't particularly argue with your last sentiment...
