I’m not sure. Nobody who has slept next to me has complained about that though. I “fall” into my bed sometimes. That’s pretty disorientating

It sucks. And can become torture in sleep disorder. It sounds a lot like falling into your bed You've really never experienced it? It's more like a sudden jerk.. within a dream state that exists before the paralyzer kicks in. It jerks you awake, due to sudden movement where normally, your reflex would kick in to catch you. Hence, The Kick. Probably why some have night terrors and act out their dreams. You jerk awake when you fall into your bed, too.
