all it takes to form a cult is an intelligent person with the training and wherewithal to manipulate a willing and susceptible group of people into believing their spin of events! lol

the people who are susceptible usually have dependency, co dependency or enabling traits. a drug rehab would be an ideal recruitment location, as it congregates many people with the above traits into a single location. lol

the charismatic leader would need to be able to convince the followers of their "good" intentions, while at the same time, suppressing their inner demons to keep them from being exposed and destroying their façade of altruism! lol
