Fame is not a curse if it's a byproduct of you resounding in many minds while creating a string of ideas that give you pearly gobs of bliss.
Fame is a curse when you are creating ever weaker echoes of something long dead.
It's becomes a lifesucking demon.

That's quite the bipolar cross section. Tesla died an old man summarily forgotten. MJ never had a choice as he was more an alter than a person. There are a lot of whatever happened to articles that would likely make my point.
