[link to www.who.int] I guess they are afraid of hurting the pig and bird population's feelings. Why don't they worry about finding cures rather than finding names that are more soothing to the population. In most cases the names given fit the disease and will stick in the minds of the public bringing greater awareness to the illness and it's causes and symptoms. I am so sick of being told what to do and say by a bunch of Dumbocrat liberal assholes.... That is all well and good with the right incentive behind it. The only problem with your thinking, as is with the majority thinking is that a cure needs to be found and is paramount. What is really needed is to find the cause, the cause is the important issue that always gets looked over because that means big pharma loose out, they keep you sick while the charities keep rich on the cure bandwagon. Get to the cause, which in all likelihood, 8 times out of 10 comes from a lab. Finding the cause will cure the problem without feeding big pharma, and where it is necessary is justified. |
