I took a course called "Protecting Our Chidlren" at the local Catholic Church because, despite the fact I am not Catholic, I get paid to play the organ and the piano for them. In the course of the mandatory 2-hour video they made the assertion that being homosexual has nothing to do with pedophilia. I could not believe my ears. After all the years the Church has had to deal with this issue internally, THAT, is their current position?!?!?!?

I wrote on their form that they are making a grave mistake in promoting such lying propaganda, but never heard anything back from anyone. The deacon who taught the course refused to discuss the issue with me when approached as well.

Still playing for them for now...But I know what is going to happen the first time I am asked to play for a sodomy celebration they try to call "gay marriage..."

(I want to emphasize that most the parishioners I know are very nice people and do NOT support this stuff. Our county voted 72% against our state allowing sodomy celebrations to be labeled "gay marriage" but most of the rest of the state has paper ballots, so...)
