I am sorry to hear about your experience. But that is one story. And mine is another story.. So I think we can come to the conclusion that the truth lies some where in the middle.

From the studies though child molestation and rape it about POWER. The molester does these acts because it gives them a sense of control. To them it does not matter the sex of their victim. It is about controlling their victims.

And like I stated in my first post I think that scout leaders need to be vetted more carefully but I don't think their sexual orientation is a key part of that vetting process. If they have had ANY sexual abuse history in the past I think they should be turned down gay or straight.

I hope this sort of puts on the same page. Again I am sorry to heat about your past experience.
