I was in scouts over 25 year ago. I had a few gay leaders and never once was I in fear. Actually they were the most focused on helping the scouts get the most out of scouting.

I think there needs to be better background checks on people who want to be scout leaders. But I don't think you have to worry about peoples sexual orientation.

FYI...I was attacked myself as a webelo, but was a big kid and fought it off. The guy was kicked out (this is back in the 60s!) and he was definitely a HOMOSEXUAL as well as a PEDO. I never went back to the Scouts after that though, despite the fact my dad was a camp director.

A little realism is in order. Parents who seek inexpensive babysitting are expected to be aware that secretive groups like the homosexual bloc can't advertise on billboards and the like. The moment they deliver their kid to such a group, lazy parents are complicit, even encouraging.
