He resigned because he realized that what Shrub was doing and what he was aiding wasn't right...I think he's an honest and ethical man, which is what I'm looking for. Yes I realize the WMD fiasco at the UN, but I also believe he sincerely believed his "sources". He later apologized when he realized he'd been burned. I believe him to be a sincere ethical character.
