Rev 2:26 -- Does this speak to Christ's return? Is it a metaphor?

And...what is the morning star, in this instance?

the morning star symbolizes life on earth..this post concerns economic control of the world being handed over to the good side as the declared winner in the realm of energy economics..the rod of iron represents energy pipelines, in this case putin and his honest, supply and demand russian far east energy efforts winning the war against the pricewhore, who in her anger after being thrown down, makes war with the remnants of her seed at Armageddon...so armageddon is a bunkhouse match of evil vs. evil. vs evil..it is not the end of the world, but rather the end of the bad guys and their pitbulls...there will never be an end to the world as that would be an admission that evil is stronger than good..it is, of course, not the case...those that see this fight and endure its economic ramifications and carry their cross...support putin and his efforts and don't get dragged int9o destabilization charades that only help the bad guys on their way down..

this is a great post as it is a startpoint to get to the bottom of things that leads to the turnaround and ultimate victory...the darkest hour is just before dawn..understanding energy economics will get us to the bottom of things...prophecy corroborates when it tells us the the war in heaven goes back and forth before the heavy blows of Armageddon..

It's referring to Jesus's millennial kingdom that will reign and rule on earth for 1000 years.

There will be a government, teachers, etc. and He will choose who will be in positions of authority, hand selected by Jesus Himself.

What makes you think it's coming soon?

So many reasons, it would take an entire day to type it all out.

But, here are just a few

1. Fukushima radiation that will kill us all if He doesnt come soon.

2. Israel became a nation in 1948. Jesus said that generation would see the end. A biblical generation is 70 years long. 1948 + 70 = 2018. That's soon!

3. ISIS's goal is to take Jerusalem, which is the great tribulation, the last 3.50 years of earth as we know it.

But, there are so many more.......like I said, it would take an entire day.

There's no character called lucifer in the Bible.

Jesus has been establishing His spiritual Kingdom since He ascended 2,000 years ago. This spiritual Kingdom will manifest in the natural after He returns and judges the nations.

His followers, who are currently a part of His spiritual Kingdom, as they are prepared and trained, rise up in authority in His Kingdom.

This authority is based upon humility before God and service to His Kingdom in the here and now.

Moreover, there are tons of scriptures which say that His faithful servants will be given positions in the natural Kingdom He will have in the Millenial Reign (when Christ reigns for 1,000 years on earth after the judgment).

Jesus said that in the next age we would neither be married nor given in marriage, but would be as the angels. This, I believe, is what it means when He talks about the "morning star."


Stars are often metaphors for angels in the Bible. A "morning star" is an angel with a great measure of authority.

Satan is such an angel. The Book of Job references that there were numerous "morning stars."

Job 38
6 On what were its bases sunk,
or who laid its cornerstone,
7 when the morning stars sang together
and all the sons of God shouted for joy

By the looks of this scripture, morning star angels are angels that have a specific role to praise and worship God. They are singers and musicians who are dedicated to this glorious honor.

I believe in the next age, people who have served God in this manner, and have been prepared and trained, will be given this measure of authority to help Jesus rule and reign on earth.

These Christians will be like the judges of the Old Testament, given a delegated region to oversee and help people decide matters and maintain order.

Luke 19:17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’


The awesome thing about God's Kingdom is that it will be filled with people who in this life weren't considered important, but took the things of God seriously and served diligently.

In other words, anyone can rise to such heights in God's Kingdom. No one is held back for any reason if they want it! This is totally antithetical to the worldly systems which focus on outward appearance, status, background, and other shallow qualifications.

God says, "Run hard after me and you will be rewarded!"

Also, I don't mean to imply that you have to be a "praise and worship" person to have authority in God's Kingdom. There's room for all the parts of the Body. There will be a variety of people ruling and reigning with Him, praise God!
