I wonder why they don't install an active sound cancelling system in those planes. I would only add about 3 Kg extra weight.

The quietness would greatly benefit the concentration and endurance of the pilots.

Maybe there headset is good enough?

The headsets are noise-canceling.

I knew that, point is that the rest of their body is still influenced by that constant loud noise which will cause constant stress.

That said it would also greatly improve the output of their mike.

Do you want them training under optimal conditions?

Even though there are no air dogfights since WWII we should stop everything and perfect this technology

They tried to take the guns/cannons off planes in the Vietnam era because "dogfighting is dead." Didn't work out well.

The tank has been dead for 30+ years yet they are still everywhere...

The guns and cannons are for mowing down soldiers on the ground

Guns on a FIGHTER were not put on there to shoot at the ground. You'll only see A-10's or attack helicopters shooting at the ground.

Look up the F-4 PhantomII and it's development.



There are NO countermeasures (flares, electronic, stealth)to defend against flying lead.
