Major Gas Line Ruptures Along Red River - Bossier Parish, Louisiana

On top of the flooding in some parts of Bossier Parish, authorities are now dealing with a major gas line rupture.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the southern part of the River Bluff subdivision in an newly developed area where no homes had been built yet.

Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies say the line is not near any of the houses but is causing somewhat of a geyser in the flooded area.

Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies, Louisiana State Police, Hazmat, CenterPoint Energy and the Louisiana National Guard all responded to the scene.
