They can be deceived same as people can by the 'smiley' voice and the 'acted' friend, but they're better at spotting phonies than humans are.

They usually are.
They had millennia of training being around humans.
If they evaluated humans well, they might get food and some appreciation.

If they misjudged the humans they got kicked or worse.

Of course they do! Dogs know.

Maybe why IS seems to hate dogs?

And why the enforcers kill the dogs first.

Dogs know evil people with no interaction.
They sense things, humans can not.

and THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

I judge others on how my dog reacts to them.
She has shown herself to be an excellent judge of character.

Do other dog owners have a kind of mind connection to their dogs?
You know what they are thinking? You know where they are at all the time?
You have a greeting from them like wolves and lions do?

I LOVE my dog! I have never had a dog before but now I see why they are so loved. Man's best friend for sure. My dog would defend me to the end.
She is a 3 pound vicious animal little wolf. : )

I think it is more of them just avoiding the negative energy in general.

I had a pitbull, he was awesome, would eat anything that passed his face as long as it was dead already, man that dog could eat, but if i attacked him with a side of beef he refused to touch it!!

My dog is like that. She hates my brother-in-law. He's my husband's older brother. He can't get his life together and always relies on my husband to help him out. He takes advantage of my husband's unselfish compassionate nature and I think she senses it.

A few years ago we were living out of state and had everything packed getting ready to move back home. While we were living there the landlady always praised us for how clean we had kept the home. She came over to inspect the house to decide how much of our deposit we would get back. She and her husband went on and on about how the house was in the best condition of anyone who had rented it before us.

I had a funny feeling about it because she was acting kind of strange that day. She told us she had been out shopping and didn't have enough money with her to give us the entire amount she promised, but said she would get it to us before we left the next day. She made up an excuse as to why she didn't have the remainder of our deposit the next day and asked for our mailing address and said she would mail us the rest. She never mailed it, of course, and when I called her about it she "suddenly" found all kinds of things wrong with the house that she was going to have to use the deposit to fix.

The day she had come over to inspect the house, she also went outside to inspect the backyard where our dog was. She'd never done this to anyone before, but she ran up and bit the lady on the ass. LOL (She didn't bite hard enough to rip her pants or draw blood.) She must have known the lady was going to screw us over too.

That's not true. Dogs have a sense of smell, they can smell the difference between people. They can smell fear and hate too. And they chase demons in their dreams.

No marked preference. This just in: Scientists discover that humans are dumb about smells and body signals, relying instead of verbal language and clothing to convey signals to one another.

Meanwhile, my dog just growled at the landlord....sign of something? Or is science full of crap?

i have a german shepard and a pit bull .... get any type of overly assertive or slightly agressive and you're a snack .... period, they will eat you! ..... these are not trained like this, they love their daddy

My little guy (chewenny) won't take food from strangers, I
didn't train him to do that something he did on this own.

They are so sensitive and loyal!

I go to a dog park several times a week, and there are some great people that I socialize with and there are others who are no fun to be around - critical and complaining all the time.

My dog loves and plays with the dogs of the people I'm friends with and ignores the others - haha really!

It's funny, because I used to think dogs only reacted to someone who was evil as opposed to someone who was simply annoying, but there's a guy I know who hasn't done anything wrong to me (yet), but I just find him to be the most irritating human I've ever met, (and I am not usually annoyed easily). My dog met him for the first time last weekend and completely ignored him every time he called her over...but she LOVES people! But for some reason was just not interested in this dude! Crazy how well they pick that stuff up!

I love all creatures but dogs are just great
