That is my reasoning, minus the insults. If you believe this myth to be just that, why go out of the way to prove it wrong? If you believe the ones spreading this 'myth' to be insane, or misinformed and you have tried on many occasions to 'inform' them, yet no avail; why pursue it?

I've lurked this forums and whenever there is a planet x thread, you can count on him posting. Even if someone is directing you to this particular thread, you should be so drained with the constant disapproval of your contentions, that at some point you are going to wash your hands with the 'ignorance' of the mass.

It's really very simple. Losers who lost in life are obsessed with "doom" or "reset" because it allows them to let themselves off the hook for their fucked up choices. They want to be validated, and when they don't get validated they lash out in anger.

Let me give you an example. Suppose I'm some Anonymous Coward who started doing drugs in junior high school, become a full blown alcoholic by 23 years old, with a criminal record and is virtually unemployable, not to mention layers upon layers of hideous, mismatched tattoos. I find it interesting that some people are so insecure in their own beliefs that they feel they have to make assumptions about what I believe and try to "convert me" simply because they perceive me as being intelligent and educated. What does that say about their beliefs that they automatically assume intelligent people disagree with them?
