Repeal and Replace ObamaCare-SIGN PETITION
Did you know that almost fifty percent of the 114th Congress consists of lawmakers who have taken office since the 2010 elections?

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA, or ObamaCare) was signed into law in March of 2010 after the Obama/Reid/Pelosi axis of power, along with a host of partisan Leftist lawmakers, deceived the American people and passed ObamaCare through legislative sleight of hand. ObamaCare's passage was a direct assault on the rule of law.

That year, a nationwide movement was launched to “flip" the House and elect conservative representatives who would work to repeal ObamaCare. Conservative Americans did our part and eventually changed the balance of power in both Chambers of Congress.

First, following a midterm trouncing which ushered in 63 new Republican lawmakers, in January 2011 the gavel to the House of Representatives was passed from Nancy Pelosi to John Boehner. Since then, the House has voted dozens of times to stop ObamaCare, only to be shut out of the Senate. In response, in 2014 Americans voted in a more conservative Senate.

This year, in the 114th Congress, Republicans control both chambers of Congress.
+ + The Supreme Court is about to rule on four words in the ObamaCare laws.

ObamaCare could be in a state of upheaval following the Supreme Court's decision to hear a case involving four words in the ACA that could affect millions of people whose insurance is being subsidized through federal exchanges.

The foundation of the case is whether the meaning of the words “established by a state" restricts the tax subsidies being offered to people buying insurance in the states which have established exchanges, and excludes the 36 states which have not.

Democrats who originally drafted the law say the exclusion wasn't their intention. President Obama has openly chided the Justices for taking the case and demanded that they interpret the intent of the law, not the actual wording.

The implementation of ObamaCare has been riddled with errors, deceptions, delays, and cost overruns since day one.

+ + Republicans who were elected to defeat ObamaCare must be ready to seize this opportunity!

Right now, reports are that Members of Congress are not ready with a fallback plan if the Justices rule against the ObamaCare subsidies. The fact that Congress is unprepared is, quite frankly, a profound dereliction of duty since we have been fighting this law and calling for a new plan since 2010.

If the High Court ruling adversely impacts the 6 million or so insured who are dependent on the subsidies, there is speculation that the Justices may stay their ruling to allow time for Congress to “fix" the bill.

Thomas, we do not want ObamaCare “fixed." We want our elected representatives to Repeal and Replace ObamaCare and start over with a healthcare reform plan that is based on the Constitution, considerate of moral concerns, fiscally sound, patient-centered, and without government intrusion into private rights.

That's what Liberty Counsel Action is petitioning Congress to do: Repeal and Replace ObamaCare. Thomas, will you stand with us and add your name to our petition? It is paramount that we hold our elected officials accountable to do what they were elected to do.

+ + This time, we hope the High Court makes the right decision!

As you may recall, in the 2012 case that the Supreme Court heard against ObamaCare in which Liberty Counsel was highly involved, the word “penalties" paid to the IRS for not buying a qualified insurance plan were deemed by the Justices to be “taxes," which fell under congressional authority. That stunning ruling kept ObamaCare alive, contrary to what the Leftist 112th Congress told the the American people about ObamaCare containing “no new taxes."

Today, we are saddled with a law that makes a frontal attack on religious freedom. As pro-life Americans, we adamantly oppose any healthcare plan that will require us to pay for abortions with our tax dollars!

ObamaCare is a menace to our nation. It is overt socialism at its core and is completely unconstitutional.

As I've written many times before, just because ObamaCare is the “law of the land" doesn't make it lawful!

I believe the 114th Congress must move to end ObamaCare. Now, the voices of the American people MUST be heard and heeded by the United States Congress!

That's why LCA is calling on Members of Congress to take action and Repeal and Replace ObamaCare – sooner rather than later.

Re: Repeal and Replace ObamaCare-SIGN PETITION
Replace with what? You do realize that both dem and rep presidents and houses of congress have tried to enact some kind of health care reform for over 40 years and were unable to? Now that something is in place you want to repleal it?

Social security and Medicare we're both demonized by close minded individuals that sound a lot like you when they were first inacted. Were they perfect? Nope, not by a long stretch, but you work to fix what's wrong and in doing so make it better. Something is better then nothing, you can't build a structure without a foundation. Is obamacare perfect? Again, the answer is obviously no. But the solution is not repeal, it cooperation with the intent of fixing it.

You and too many others, dem and rep alike are way too intrentched to see anything beyond your own noses. Our health care system was completely and utterly broken. If you could go your entire life paying ridiculously high premiums only to have the insurance company deny your claims that systems not working.

I'm not arguing that obamacare has fixes all of those issues, not even close. But it's a START. No bill or law is ever perfect at first, but that's when you work across the aisle to make meaning changes. Not just to pander to your core constituency which for the record will not win anyone any elections. Small tent politics are dead or dying. Big tent, big picture, all inclusive is the future. Agree or don't it doesn't change the reality that it's true.

No going back to the 50's, no deporting 15 million illegal immigrants, no more discriminations get against women or blacks. It's the year 2015. Get with the show. It's been voted on nearly 50 times by reps in Washington and never gets to the presidents desk, and if if did do you really think he'd sign it? How STUPID ARE YOU? Veto...

Why am I wasting my time, morons like you are the problem with this country. It's like having a conversation with a wall. It's all one sided.

Oh, and by the way, dem out number reps and normally only vote in presidential elections which is the only reason why there was a swing mid term election. Get with the times, reds are turning purple, blues are turning dark blue. Im a moderate dem, not some liberal idiot, but even I know you can't keep fucking over large shares of the American population and expect to maintain power.

The ironic thing is that most people who vote rep and aren't uber wealthy are the lowest educated ,highly conservative and normally don't realize that voting rep is against their own interests. Their sheep who don't know better. They don't educate themselves about the issues and aren't current on what's really happening. Just regurgitating garbage they heard on Fox News or am radios. So sad really.

Your sad and so are the Obama bashers who hate without knowing why they hate. Sheep who can't think for themselves. You really think Jeb's gonna be better for you as an individual? Or Christie? Or any of these other union hating, war mongering taxing the poor and while making easier for the rich republicans is looking out for you?!? Lmao..

Sure.. Hold your breath while you wait for it all to trickle down ... Idiot

Re: Repeal and Replace ObamaCare-SIGN PETITION
It's too late for repeal. Thank John Roberts for that.

The insurance companies are flourishing and they'll throw every dollar they have at "our elected representatives" toward keeping it alive no matter what.

The only two outcomes I can see coming involve an Obamacare death spiral ending with either a bailout to the insurance companies followed by numerous "fixes" to the law while leaving the individual mandate in place or for the adoption of single payer.
