What is the most humble thing a person could do for you or say?

If you wanted to show other people, especially strangers or those of other cultures that you valued them as a person and were thinking of them and not yourself, what would you do? At this time, we need to come together instead of letting things divide us. I feel that many of us are being used and manipulated to hate. This is the reaction those who are doing the manipulating want. We have to do things that they do not expect. We will also have to do things that no one expects.

What is something that you wish people would do, that you don't expect anyone would do? It has to be simple, free or nearly free, and very humbling.


We don't wash feet in our culture anymore or even shine people's shoes. We open doors for others but I was thinking it must be more than that too.

It is about finding needs and meeting them in unexpected ways. Helping those who would not expect that you would help them or doing something kind for someone who does not expect it.

I think humility and kindness are something that we will need to get through this.
