If you had to choose which dump would you rather visit and/or live in? Ciudad Juarez or Lake Tahoe?

I wouldn't want to set foot in either of them let alone live in them. But if I had to choose I would take juarez both to visit and live in anyday over lake Tahoe. hell i would choose to live in Juarez anyday over even setting foot near lake Tahoe. I've been to both Juarez and Tahoe and I'm a white man who knows very little Spanish and I actually felt much safer in Juarez than I did in Tahoe.Not to mention as dumpy,ugly and dirty as Juarez is Juarez seems downright beautiful clean and like paradise compared to lake Tahoe. lake tahoe is an ugly dirty dumpy polluted wasteland. The water is ugly dirty and brown and polluted. Don't believe any pictures you see of it showing it have beautiful clear sparkling blue waters, beautiful lush green trees,a nd beautiful mountains. There all fake and photoshopped. the water is ugly, dirty, brown and polluted, the trees dying or dead and rotting wilted and wasting away.The mountains there look like shitpiles. Also the roads there are very poor, narrow, dangerous, and full of potholes. Traffic makes L.A. look traffic free by comparison. everything is super expensive.To get anywhere off the main highway there requires either hiking ridiculous distances or driving on super dangerous super narrow deathtrap roads.Hell itself seems like paradise compared to Tahoe. So If I had to choose I'd take Juarez a zillion percent anyday over Tahoe. I'd a zillion percent rather live in Juarez the rest of my life than step foot near Tahoe for even a second.

Juarez is great! People are wonderful there. Cool mall, huge market. They have an amazing Revolution Museum right across the border. Go ahead and dont go there though, so I can have more Juarez for myself. Te amo Mexico!

Idiot. Lake Tahoe is one of the most beautiful Alpine lakes in the world. How do I know? Lived one mile from the lake for twenty years. I now live in Reno 30 miles from the Lake. You're an idiot, clearly your mother slamming your head in a door jam didn't fix the idoit DNA your father donated.

Lake Tahoe is not a super volcano. The brimstone you smell is from Mammoth Mountain and the Mono-Inyo craters. They are the ones that can kill you. Plus Shasta us only 130 miles away.

The lake was formed by a huge block fault and the volcanos it caused dammed the end towards Reno.

For cheap and pretty I would go with Topaz Lake, NV.

You are the problem. You can't recognize a good thing when you see it. Granted, I haven't been back in awhile, but I lived there for seven years. My husband's ashes are in Lake Tahoe. The water is so clear that tourists who are clueless think they are looking at brown water when they are looking at the sand through the water. Locals will laugh when tourists want to purchase a water bottles "for the three colors of water in Lake Tahoe." SLT has suffered financially with the recession and when the money for a big project got cut. But, it is getting it together now. Don't be such a negative, hostile, jerk. And, please, go to Mexico.

I used to live right on Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, NV.

It's one of the most beautiful spots in the world.

I've been to Juarez a couple times. It's a Hellhole.

Neither.
Lake Tahoe is in California, which is a full blown communist shithole state.
Juarez is in Mexico, which is a filthy, corrupt third world shithole county.
I'd rather die than live anywhere in California or Mexico.
